A dwarf Silver Fir. Forms a very dense, flat-topped mound of glossy green needles. Needles are a bit thicker and shorter than the species. Grows 1′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom in Badenweiler, Germany by Güsnter Eschrich before 1978.

Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade. (If you experience hot dry summers, best to position in partial shade otherwise can grow in full sun.)
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
