NATIVAR – A dwarf weeping Canadian Hemlock. Dark green needles are attached to very pendulous branches which will creep and crawl on the ground to form a beautiful evergreen carpet. Or you can stake it to your desired height and let it cascade and form a mound. Puts on ~1′ of growth per year.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Germany. First listed in 1887.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining, acidic soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay and dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
