NATIVAR – A semi-dwarf Canadian Hemlock. Forms an irregular upright of bright golden-yellow foliage which contrasts with the dark green mature foliage. Grows 8′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Mitsch Nursery of Oregon in 1985.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining, acidic soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay and dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
