A male, semi-dwarf Anglo-Japanese Yew. Forms a dense, compact, broadly pyramidal habit of dark green foliage. Known for excellent uniformity. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period. Or trim to your desired size.

Parentage unknown. Selected by D. Hill Nursery of Illinois in 1914.

Exposure: Full Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Dislikes constantly wet soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
