NATIVAR – A dwarf Eastern White Pine having a flat globe appearance and intense blue needles. Cones appear at a young age. Grows 3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from the Hershey Estate in Pennsylvania before 1979.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
