NATIVAR – A large growing Eastern White Pine with an upright, open habit. It features amazingly blue fluffy needles. Grows 15-20′ high by 15′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling from Pinus strobus (species). Selected by Jason Hupp of Western Evergreen Nursery, Oregon in 2005. Named after his daughter Chloe, nickname.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
