Kwangtung Pine

A large growing pine similar in appearance to the Japanese White Pine (Pinus parviflora). Forms a open, broadly pyramidal tree of ascending branches with ascending bluish-green needles. Produces reddish-brown 1/4″-3/4″ pine cones. Grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
