Colorado Blue Spruce - Scottie
A dwarf, very dense conical Colorado Blue Spruce. Short, powdery-blue needles cling to ascending branches almost given a somewhat columnar appearance. Grows 2.5′ high by 1.5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected at Schaeffer's Nursery, Oregon in 1982 and named after the owner Scott Schaeffer.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
