Commonly known as the Bird’s Nest Spruce. This dwarf Norway Spruce forms a flat-topped low mound with a depressed center. Light green foliage. Grows 2′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated by Rulemann Grisson Nursery of Germany before 1904.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
