Sweetgum - American - Slender Silhouette
A columnar form and one of the most known varieties of Sweetgum. Green spring and summer leaves turn various shades of orange, red, yellow and burgundy during fall. Minimal fruiting especially when young. Very upright, tight and fast growing to 50′ high by 5′ wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Don Shadow of Tennessee who discovered it growing wild in the 1980s.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
