Japanese Larch - Haverbeck
A dwarf low-mounding Japanese Larch. Very tiny, bluish-green needles emerge from thick shoots that are marked with white resin and turn golden-yellow in fall before shedding. Grows 1.5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom by Güsnter Horstmann of Germany before 1983.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
