Witch Hazel - Hybrid - Gingerbread
A semi-dwarf Witch Hazel with gingerbread coloured flowers! Slightly fragrant, dark coppery-orange flowers that are redder at the base appearing in mid to late winter on bare stems. Calyx is a purple-red colour. Spring leaves emerge with a maroon-purple tone, quickly turning to dark green and transitioning to yellow in the fall. Grows 6-10′ high by 10-12′ wide.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by the De Belder family of Belgium in 1995.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils but prefers a well draining one, slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective trimming in spring right after the flowers have finished. Do not trim in fall, as flower buds have already been set.
