American Persimmon - Morris Burton
An American Persimmon variety which produces heavy crops of small to medium sized fruits. The fruit is orange-red in colour and has a nutty flavour. Fruit ripens early. Dark green leaves with a slight blue hue turn shades of yellow-orange-red-purple in the fall. Grows 40′ high by 25′ wide.

Parentage unknown. Seedling discovered in Indiana.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning only to build shape which may result in loss of flower/fruits for the first year when done.
