NATIVAR – An older but still popular variety of Pawpaw tree. A good reliable producer of large (less than 1/2 pound), sweet fruit with yellow flesh and large seeds. Fruit ripens early. Large green leaves turn yellow in fall. Grows 12-15′ high and wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Wild seedling selected by Corwin Davis of Michigan in 1959.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils including excess moisture.
Maintenance: Selective pruning only to build shape which may result in loss of flower/fruits for the first year when done.
