A female, semi-dwarf, columnar English Yew. Also known as the Irish Yew or Florence Court Yew. Forms a rigid upright of dark blackish-green needles. Grows 6′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found growing in the wild in the hills above Florence Court County, Ireland in 1780 by Mr. Willis, a farmer.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Full Shade. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Dislikes constantly wet soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
