A golden, semi-dwarf Japanese Black Pine! Very long bright-yellow needles during the summer darken golden during the winter months. Requires sun for best colour. Broadly upright, grows 5′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Japan. Listed in the USA in 1986.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
