NATIVAR – A large, fast growing Eastern White Pine. Needles have an intense blue colour and lie forwards along the branches exposing the whitish undersides. Grows 10′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated by Edmund Mezitt of Massachusetts before 1982.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
