NATIVAR – One of the more common and favoured dwarf Eastern White Pines. Forms a neat, dense bun shape with short, mid-green needles. Grows 2′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a seedling by William Horsford of Vermont in the 1960s.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
