Japanese White Pine - Venus
A semi-dwarf Japanese White Pine. Forms a pyramid of short silvery blue-green foliage which is shorter than the species. Produces cones at a young age. Grows 7-9′ high by 3-6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated at L. Konijn & Co. of the Netherlands before 1965.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
