Japanese White Pine - Bergman
A dwarf Japanese White Pine forming a wide-spreading shrub with many shoots. Long blue-green needles are twisted and its buds are rather large. Grows 18″ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Fred and Helene Bergman of Raraflora Nursery, Pennsylvania in 1965.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
