A very dwarf version of the ‘Skylands’ Oriental Spruce! Dense, very-short golden needles form a flatten globe shape, eventually becoming a squatty pyramid with age. Protection from the hot afternoon sun recommended. Grows 1′ high by 1.5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a witch's broom of Picea orientalis 'Skylands' at John Verkade Nursery, New Jersey before 1990.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
