A semi-dwarf Oriental Spruce with similar habit of the species in almost all aspects. Conical shape, new shoots emerge creamy yellow in the spring and mature to a glossy green by summer while retaining some yellowish hues. Grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by P. Smith of Germany before 1873.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
