A dwarf Japanese Cedar which forms a compact mound of dense green foliage, turning reddish in winter. Grows 15″ high by 20″ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Japan before 1890. Imported into Europe by Phillipe de Vilmorin in 1940.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Shelter from winter winds.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils which are slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
