Fringe Tree - American - Little Leslie
A dwarf American Fringe Tree! Very compact and dense branches, produces mass clusters of slightly fragrant white stringy flowers during May / June. A female variety, which produces black olive-like fruit by fall if a male is nearby to pollinate. Flowers and foliage is smaller than species. Green leaves turn golden-yellow during fall. Grows 4-5′ high and wide.

Origin
Found from a Chionanthus virginicus which developed dwarf characterics. Found and introduced by Dannaher Nursery, Ohio. Named after the owner's wife, Leslie.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming in spring right after flowering.
