Japanese Full Moon Maple - Bronze Age
An upright selection of Full Moon Maple where new green leaves emerge with a purplish-bronze tone. The foliage does fade to a more olive-green colour with new foliage pushing a bronze colouration still. Fall foliage can include colours of yellow, orange and red. Grows 9′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon. Possible hybrid with Acer palmatum.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
