Japanese Maple - Wakehurst Pink
Large pink new leaves emerge in spring transition to a green-bronze with light variegation of pink dots and blotches. Fall foliage is a wonderful red. Grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period. Leafs out later than most Japanese Maples.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Original plant located in Wakehurst Place Gardens, England. Introduced by Firma C. Esveld Nursery, the Netherlands in the late 1980s.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
