Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August. If an odd shoot is seen as a straight green it is recommend to trim it out as this can lead to total reversion of the plant.

Group: Palmatum

Variegation is dependent on environmental conditions. Some years the plant can be heavily variegated and the next it could appear almost entirely green or somewhere in between.
