Japanese Maple - Beautiful Red Faced Monkey
Spring foliage emerges purple-red to bronze red and transition to orange-red in the summer with undertones of green. Fall colour is bright red. Upright, grows 10′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced from Japan in 1967.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
