Japanese Maple - Samurai Sword
A large, very fast growing Japanese Maple, perfect for a small shade tree! Red spring foliage matures a dark purple-red by summer before turning a glowing red during the fall. Broad, oval habit with a strong leader, grows 15′ high by 10′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
