Japanese Maple - Dragon Spirit
A true weeping broadleaf (not cutleaf) Japanese Maple! New star-shaped light green spring leaves mature to a medium green by summer and transitions to an orange fall colour. You can let it trail on the ground if you wish or you can stake it up to your desired size.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a plant mutation from Kobayashi Nursery, Japan in the summer of 1990.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
