Japanese Maple - Red Baron
A medium sized Japanese Maple with medium sized leaves. Bright red new spring foliage matures to a purplish-red taking on green hues by summer. Various shades of purple and red are seen in the fall. Grows 10′ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Red Maple Nursery in Pennsylvania.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
