Japanese Maple - Peve Stanley
A nice medium upright Japanese Maple. Deeply dissected leaves emerge red in the spring and transition to a very deep shade of purple by summer. Fall foliage is scarlet red. Grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by Piet Vergeldt of The Netherlands.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
