Acer palmatum ‘Peve Dave’

Acer palmatum ‘Peve Dave’

Japanese Maple - Peve Dave

A somewhat unique Japanese Maple in regards to its leaf structure. Leaf lobes are more narrow compared to regular maple leaves but at the same time are thicker than a ribbon-style leaf, putting it somewhere in between these two. Foliage emerges red in spring, transitions to burgundy and eventually green by summer. Foliage turns bright red in fall. Grows 7′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.
