Japanese Maple - Pepper and Salt Leaf
A Japanese Maple with a very unique style leaf having edges rolled up almost forming a tube shape. Small foliage leaves emerge light green in spring and change to dark green by summer. The foliage transitions to a beautiful golden fall colour. An upright, vase shape, growing 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Listed as early as 1704.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
