Acer palmatum ‘Koto no ito’
Japaneses Maple - Harp Strings
A favourite Japanese Maple among many due to its very long, narrow leaf lobes giving it a most graceful appearance. A dense variety where the thickness of each leaf lobe can differ. New foliage emerges reddish in colour but quickly changes to darker green which holds through summer until fall when shades of red and yellow appear. Grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.
