Acer palmatum ‘Koshibori nishiki’
Japanese Maple - Young Pale-spotted Brocade
A lightly variegated Japanese Maple with small spring new leaves that emerge green with orange and red margins. The margins dissapear by summer but the leaves are finely dusted in flecks of creamy-yellow on top of the green base. The amount of flecks can vary leaf to leaf. In the fall, colours of oranges and yellows are shown. Grows 7′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
