
Acer palmatum ‘Ikandi’
Japanese Maple - Ikandi
A very variegated Japanese Maple with new spring leaves emerging bright white before taking on a green backdrop with pink margins. The pink colouration changes to a creamy-white by summer and the foliage transitions to an orange-red fall colour. Grows 10′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Chance seedling of Acer palmatum ‘Alpenweiss’, discovered by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
