
Acer palmatum ‘Ichigyoji’
Japanese Maple - Ichigyoji
A large upright Japanese Maple that is almost identical to ‘Osakazuki’ in all aspects expect for the fall colour. Large green spring and summer leaves turn a brilliant yellow-orange fall colour! Grows 10′ high by 7′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected in the 1880's.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
