Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Waterfall
A weeping Japanese Maple with very pendulous branches giving it a cascading ‘Waterfall’ look. Very similar to ‘Viridis’ with bright green spring leaves darkening to a medium green by summer before transitioning to an outstanding yellow-orange fall colour with hints of red. However, ‘Waterfall’ has larger leaves than ‘Viridis’. Stake to desired size.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Original plant located at Willowwood Arboretum, New Jersey was named by Henry Hohman in the 1920's.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
