Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Cascading Red-faced Monkey
A weeping Japanese Maple with a very strong pendulous habit. Deep maroon foliage is a bit brighter when first emerged. Leaves can have a green tone down the centre. Fall colour is scarlet. Stake to desired size.

Parentage unknown. Introduced in 1975.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
