Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Crimson Princess
A newer weeping cutleaf Japanese Maple. Dissected leaves emerge cherry-red in spring and matures to a lighter shade of burgundy-red by summer, instead of maroon colour like many other varieties. In the fall, the leaves turn crimson red. Considered to be faster growing than ‘Crimson Queen’. Stake to desired height.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from New Zealand.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
