Acer palmatum ‘Beni zuru’
Japanese Maple - Red Swan
A bushy, dwarf form of Japanese Maple which shares a lot of similarities to ‘Akane’. Small leaves emerge pink-orange in colour with yellow veins. The main veins slowly transition to green by summer with an yellow-orange leaf backdrop. Fall changes the colour to bright red. Grows 4′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
