NATIVAR – A heavy fruit producing Pawpaw tree. Noted for often producing more than 150 fruit per tree. Fruit ripen mid-season and have a creamy-sweet rich flavour with few seeds. Large green leaves turn yellow in fall. Grows 12-15′ high and wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Developed at Kentucky State University and released in 2009. Named after Rufus B. Atwood.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils including excess moisture.
Maintenance: Selective pruning only to build shape which may result in loss of flower/fruits for the first year when done.
