Japanese Maple - Shirazz (Gwen's Rose Delight)
An outstanding variegated Japanese Maple. Small to medium sized leaves emerge in the spring bright purplish-pink with a lighter pink variegation more so on the margins. By summer, the background changes to a more greyish-purple to green and the margins to a more creamy-white. Red and orange fall colour. Faster growing than the similar variety ‘Geisha Gone Wild’. Grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
