Japanese Maple - Kawahara Rose
A semi-dwarf Japanese Maple. New foliage emerges shrimp-pink, maturing to green with pink tips. A second foliage flush during summer re-illuminates the tree again with rosy-pink foliage. Fall foliage is oranges and yellows. Grows 6-8′ high by 4-6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Mr. Shotaro Kawahara Bonsai Company of Japan. Introduced by Maillot Bonsai of France.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
