A Japanese Maple prized for its fall colour. An upright grower with compact growth, spring and summer leaves are green but change to a stunning pumpkin-orange in the fall. Grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Listed in Japan since 1882.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
