Japanese Maple - Green Elf
A semi-dwarf Japanese Maple. New light green spring leaves emerge covered in tiny white hairs (pubescence). The leaves turn green by summer and changes to bright golden yellow in fall. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery of Oregon. Likely a hybrid seedling of Acer palmatum x Acer shirasawanum.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
