Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Emerald Lace
This weeping Japanese Maple is a vigorous grower with very pendulous branches and delicate lacy foliage. Spring foliage emerges yellow-green and darkens to a deep green by summer (deeper than most other cutleaf varieties). In the fall, the foliage turns stunning burgundy red! Stake to desired height.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Chance seedling found by David Sabo of North Carolina and introduced by Del's Japanese Maple Nursery in Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
