Acer palmatum ‘Calico’
Japanese Maple - Calico
New apricot coloured leaves emerge in the spring which retain their colour longer than most other varieties. Eventually the leaves change to a yellowish-green colour and go light green for the summer. In the fall, the leaves turn a stunning orange mixed with shades of yellow and red. This shrubby tree grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.
