Acer palmatum ‘Amber Ghost’
Japanese Maple - Amber Ghost
Pink and amber hues are highlighted by dark veins on the leaves which become darker through the summer. Foliage transitions to bright reds and oranges in the fall. Semi-upright, grows 10′ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling of Acer palmatum 'Kasagi yama'. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery as part of the 'Ghost Series' in 1995.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
